Maison Objet 2012
Once again the annual trip to the Maison Objet 2012 show was a highlight of the Exhibition year.
In particular we saw plenty of accessories including some very exciting LED lighting, unusual photographic art at sensible prices, huge ceramic fruit, acrylic furniture with a twist, ethnic lamps and impressive decorative light fittings. We also saw amazing faux flowers and some intriguing elevated vegetable growing beds (saves the back..)
In short, it was a worthwhile trip but not as inspiring as some years have been.
This year, unlike previous years the exhibitors were mainly European, very few were from further afield. Obviously the global slow down has taken it’s toll.
